Think about all the negative self-talk you engage in. Maybe you’re not even aware of it. This is the “I’m not good enough” energy. This kind of thinking is going to keep you stuck going around and around and stuck in whatever present circumstance you’re in at the moment. To effect positive change, take stock of what you’re telling yourself.
Do you do any of this:
“I don’t deserve this _________.”
“I have nothing to offer _______.”
“When that person really sees what I’m about, they are out of here.”
“I can’t possibly measure up to whatever might be expected of me.”
“I can’t do anything right.”
“My life is a mess.”
“Everything I do turns to @%#*”
And so on. Stop it. Just stop right now. Replace these statements and thoughts and perceptions with something forward moving and positive. Think highly of yourself, no matter what, because you are good enough. You do have something to offer, no matter how distorted your viewpoint of yourself is. Do you really feel like you have to make a decision for someone else regarding how “valuable” or “valueless” you are? Just do your best and that is good enough. You can change your behavior and attitude any time you’d like. You can step into your truth and integrity any time you’d like. It’s a choice.
You CAN and do measure up. What’s the measure of success anyway? Whose yardstick are you using? And you can do everything right, because there are no mistakes. There are just choices. Where those choices lead is something else. You can’t go back and change a choice you made. But you can empower yourself and make a new choice that moves your forward and into a higher vibration.
Your life is not a mess. If you think so, start in one corner of the messy room and clean it up. Don’t allow yourself to get overwhelmed by the “mess.” Just clear one single thing at a time and pretty soon the entire room will be in order.
Do not be so willing to judge yourself so harshly. Love thyself, and not in a narcissistic or arrogant way.
